Coronavirus Covid-19 Information
The Coronavirus pandemic is now touching every aspect of life around the world. Everyone is living through a very difficult time both in terms of health and business and it will take a little time to adjust to all the challenges we face. We appreciate the difficulties that this is generating for everyone involved in our industry. No one knows how long this situation will last, but it will have to come to an end at some point and things will gradually return to normal.
Fortunately, MC2/XTA is in a strong financial position, which means we can weather this storm and hopefully come out the other side stronger and ready for better times.
Currently both our factories are open, and production is continuing; we plan to maintain production for as long as the UK Government allows. Our employees’ health always comes first, and we are taking as many precautions as possible to mitigate the risks to them, but at this stage the UK is not in a general lockdown.
As you know we have healthy levels of stock on the shelf ready to ship so we can react quickly to any demand you may have. There are inevitably issues with some component supply from Asia but most of those problems are or have been solved so production continues.
Some of us will be working from home as much as possible, but this will not affect our ability to respond when you need us. Technology allows us to continue supporting you, even with social distancing.
