Chang Gung University, Taiwan, chooses MC2 Audio

MC2 Audio distributor in Taiwan, Superlight Technology, won the contract to install sound systems for the recent renovation project at Chang Gung University in Tao-Yuan County.

Chang Gung University was established in the late 1980s by Taiwanese Business Father, Mr. Yung-Ching Wang, as the Chang Gung Medical College. Over the next decade, new colleges of engineering and management were added and the institution was finally awarded University status in 1997.

The refurbishment of the site included the development of the original conference room into a 400-seat, multi-function performance hall for the first time complete with upgraded audio systems.

Superlight Technology selected two MC2 Audio E25 amplifiers to drive the main system’s pair of SLS T28R dual 8” two-way loudspeakers and one SLS115EL subwoofer while processing is by BIAMP Digital Matrix Processor. Mr. Chien of Superlight Technology asserted: ‘Based on our past experience of installing systems powered by MC2 Audio E Series or T Series, we believe the result will be more perfect performances.’
