The MC450 was the first model to be developed by MC2 Audio and was launched in the spring of 1994. At that time it was one of the first in the market to be digitally controlled and it was with this model that the twin qualities of sonic fidelity and reliability of MC2 Audio products were first established.

This technologically innovative amplifier is designed for use in studios, clubs and a wide variety of fixed installations. The unique current driven drive stage adds an extra dimension to the bass dynamics, ensuring very accurate reproduction of transients coupled with a natural 'openness' not usually found in amplifiers of this type. The sophisticated microcontroller ensures that this performance is maintained over a wide range of temperatures and loads.

Despite the sophistication of the amplifier, its modular design makes it remarkably easy to work with and it also has the option of a remote control facility.
